About Me

Hi I'm Sarah also known as Ropey Revolver, a rope practitioner in Hampshire, England.

My rope journey started in 2020 when I found I had too much time on my hands. I took to self tying very quickly as I found a peace and quiet in moving the rope across my body and letting my hands be lead by the energy it created. I used it as a tool for meditation, quieting the world around me.

In 2022 I started working with models and photographers to add decorative knot work into their visions. During this time I also began practicing partial and full suspension, finding my style experimenting with the shapes and harnesses that I enjoy.

Then in 2025 I joined Brighton rope, a queer and neurodivergent collective  as a teacher. I found a new home with this group to learn and grow, as well as being able to share my own knowledge with others. I have since taught a variety of classes from the top and the bottom.

I look forward to what the future of rope holds for me!
